The Christmas Light-Up Parade will be held on December 2, 2022, at 6 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Marble Falls.
Will the floats be throwing candy?
To ensure the safety of everyone, floats are able to walk candy over to viewers of the parade. They are prohibited from throwing any type of material from their float.
What are the hours of operation?
The Walkway of Lights is open from 6 PM-10 PM every night (Weather Permitting) from November 18th to December 31st. The Walkway of Lights becomes unsafe when the ground is wet from rain, so we make the decision to close the attraction at 3 PM the day of. If you are traveling to visit The Walkway of Lights, please check the @VisitMarbleFalls Facebook and Instagram before coming for any announcements on potential closures. Will there be food vendors in Lakeside Park?
There will be a concession stand operated by local non-profits throughout the duration of the Walkway of Lights. The concession stand will have holiday treats like cookies, hot chocolate, and coffee. If you are looking more for a more substantial meal, head to Downtown Marble Falls for many locally owned eateries. You can find a list of them here.
Where is the best place to park?
There are two primary parking lots for the event. One at the west end of Buena Vista and one at the corner of Yett and Main. Check out the map on www.VisitMarbleFalls.org/Christmas for more info on these two lots. Handicap parking is available in both lots and along the south side of Buena Vista. All parking is free but limited.
What is the cost of the Walkway of Lights?
The Walkway of Lights is a FREE event hosted by the Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce. It is entirely funded by donations. If you are interested in donating to the Walkway of Lights, there will be donation boxes throughout the walkway for your cash donations, and DipJars” will be available for credit card donations. When will Santa be there?
Santa will be in Santa’s Workshop at the Walkway of Lights every Friday (6 PM-10 PM) and Saturday (6 PM-10 PM), from November 18th to December 23rd.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Your furry friends are always welcome at The Walkway of Lights, just make sure you have them on a leash and pick up their messes. Please click here for more information on the City Ordinance requiring dogs to be on a leash.
Is the walkway ADA accessible?
The Walkway of Lights pathway is paved and ADA-accessible. There is one hill at the exit that we recommend you turn wheelchairs around when going up. There is also handicap parking available located in front of the entrance.
No drones, bicycles, skateboards, or segways permitted on the path of the Walkway of Lights.
I am from out of town and want to stay the night. Are there any recommendations?

The Winter Ice Skating Rink can be unsafe with rain or high temperatures. If there is a weather delay, the announcement is made at 3 p.m. the day of. Day of tickets are $12.00

How to buy tickets?
Presale tickets can be purchased here. Day of tickets can be purchased at the Ice Skating Rink ticket booth from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. We encourage everyone to purchase their tickets in advance because we might sell out for the day/time slot you want, and you'll save money. Online sales end at 3 PM on the day of desired ice skating time.
What do I do once I purchase my ticket?
Please bring your purchase confirmation email to the ticket booth at the Winter Ice Skating Rink, and our friendly staff will give you a wristband for your selected time slot.
What does my ticket price get me?
Skates and one hour of fun are included in your ticket price!
Is there an age/height requirement?
There is no age requirement, but there is a shoe size requirement. The smallest ice skate size is a child's size 5, and the largest is a men's size 12.
Can I rent the Ice Skating Rink for a private party?
YES! Private parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays. You must book the party at least one week in advance. The private party costs $250 for residents and $350 for non-residents. A private party is good for up to 50 people for one hour of skate time. Please call (830) 798-6250 to book your private party!
Can I bring my own skates?
Absolutely! Please keep the blade protectors on them until you are ready to skate.
Are there any special nights at the Ice Rink?
Snow Nights are every Monday and Friday. Bring your family out to experience skating as the snow falls around you.
