Lakeside Park is located on beautiful Lake Marble Falls, where the calm waters of the lake provide a perfect course for LakeFest, one of the largest drag boat races in the country. LakeFest Drag Boat Races are held annually during the second weekend of August. Lakeside Park is the perfect stop for locals and tourists alike as it has beautiful trees, picnic tables, barbeque pits, a tennis court, and a boat ramp.

The Falls of Marble Falls

Though in recent years, Marble Falls has grown to become a fully bonafide tourist destination in the Texas Hill Country, the town’s name remains a massive misnomer.
Visitors travel from all over and are often surprised to find that, not only are there no competitive marble tournaments here, but there are not any waterfalls within the city limits either.
