Westside Park is located at the intersection of 2nd Street and Avenue Q. The park, opened in May 2009, is 13 acres of fun and relaxation located along Backbone Creek, made possible in partnership with the Lower Colorado River Authority. Since that time, it has become the favored site for neighborhood fun and other community events.
