Established in 1849, Fort Croghan was the third fort the United States built to protect settlers from attacks by Native Americans. Now, visitors can see the fort and historical artifacts at the Fort Croghan Grounds & Museum. Guests can watch history come to life with frequent reenactments on the grounds and learn from the museum's knowledgeable staff.
